Using a little common sense here, and no intent meant to anyone in the Co. 1 department, but some thought needs to be given to the Truck transfer assignment to the Boro of Chbg everytime Trk 1 is committed on a fire call. You already have a Trk sitting about two blocks away in the Boro of Chbg., Trk 42. and you have another Trk sitting about 2.2 miles southeast of your Boro, Trk 17. Now if they both were committed or OOS, then yes a transfer might be needed. Unless the mutual aid contract changed, which it could have, I beleive it states in the mutual aid agreement, The Franklin Fire Company of Chambersburg will provide mutual aid to the Boro of Chbg with Trk 42 in the event Trk 1 is OOS or committed to an incident scene. It depends on how you read in to it. It makes no sense to transfer another Trk from another Boro, when you have one again sitting two blocks away and in the Boro. I know what your looking at, Sta. 4 has one pc. committed to the scene, can they get another pc out being the Trk if needed. Thats what you have box cards for, next due trk on the box, if fails, the next due trk. Again, no harm meant here, just a reasonable opinion, and food for thought. I know times have changed, and everybody has there own way, but just not a good common sense transfer. Have a nice day to everybody.

Actually common sense was used here. The Boro's truck went as RIT, 17's truck was first truck. The Big House had two engines and the Squad on the call. There was a phone call made to The Big House stating they did not have sufficient manpower for the Truck, so using common sense they called for the transfer to bring manpower to the Boro. Just cuz it was my truck that transferred isn't why I am posting this, anyones could have done it and I think that is a great idea. My two cents added to the convo. ;D Headed back to my county now.
