“THE FIRST 15 MINUTES” The first few minutes following the fire department arrival at a roadway incident scene are crucial to the successful mitigation and the reduction of exposure to secondary accidents. The program discusses apparatus staging at incident scenes, the principals of “windshield size up”, along with decision making for the safe and efficient management of traffic incidents.
