When a motion and second are properly made on the floor of a company meeting and the President refuses to call for a vote?
When the President, who is presiding over the company meeting engages in an on-going debate on the floor?

When there is a motion and a second under roberts rules there the president should ask for discussion and if there is none he should call for a vote. That is if the organization is using roberts rules of order.

First off, I NEVER mentioned ANY dept in general but to me, this is a GROSS abuse of authority and the members should act immediately to REMOVE that person from office.
The refusal of the Presiding Officer to abide by the By-Laws and Roberts Rules of Orders tells me they have NO RESPECT WHAT-SO-EVER for the members and that my friends is dispicable.
