WAYNESBORO CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATIONFIRE APPARATUS DRIVERThe Civil Service Commission of the Borough of Waynesboro will be holding examinations for the position of:FIRE APPARATUS DRIVERThe examination will be held on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2007, at 7:00 PM, in the second floor Council Chambers of Borough Hall, 57 East Main Street, Waynesboro, PA. Applicants are requested to report for the test no later than 6:45 PM. Other mandatory components of the test are an oral examination, a background check, a fitness test, and a medical examination. Other minimum standards are included in the application information.Application blanks for this examination may be secured from the Borough Office during regular business hours, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. These applications must be returned in a sealed envelope addressed to the Waynesboro Civil Service Commission, Borough Hall, 57 East Main Street, Post Office Box 310, Waynesboro, PA 17268, no later than 5:00 PM, prevailing time, on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2007.The Borough of Waynesboro does not discriminate against the handicapped in its employment practices; successful applicants will be chosen based upon the ability to perform the duties of Fire Apparatus Driver.
