Ambulance 9-8, just traded in to Horton for the new Ambulance 9-8.

Another Co. 9 Ambulance. I believe the GMC Chassis was destroyed in an accident butthe box was reused.

When 9-9 that was built on the GMC chasis was destroy the patient compartment was placed on a freight liner chasis, and renumber as 9-8. If I remember right both 9-9 and 9-8 which both freight liners were put in to service about the same time.
The ford ambulance was 9-9 and the other freight replaced it.
