The Pleasant Hall Fire Department and Harrisburg Area Community College will be hosting a PA State Fire Academy course:
Fire Attack in Sprinklered Properties (FMSP)
August 16, 2008 at 0900 hours
This course gives an overview of how sprinkler systems are
designed and constructed, why some large loss fires occur in spite of the presence of sprinklers, and how the fire department can minimize the change of such an occurrence. Student will stop the flow of a open sprinkler head. Student will get wet.
