In partnership with the Pennsylvania Institute of Applied Health Sciences the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an EMT-Basic Class beginning on January 5, 2009. For applications, descriptions, and other information, please visit www.piahs.org. PLEASE PRINT AND POST the announcement at your respective stations and offices. Your assistance is greatly appreciated in making this a successful class. In the Spring of 2008 the PIAHS/FVFD program graduated 10 students all of which passed their written examination on the first attempt and all but one passed their practical examination on the first attempt. On the first night of class registration will be accepted for the career components of the curriculum including EVOC, Haz-Mat Ops, and ALS assistant. Those dates and times will be posted later on. Again, thank you for your cooperation. The class size will be limited to 30 students. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 717-729-0905 or Jeff Coombe at 717-226-4357. Also, to the webmasters, if you have room on your site for a link regarding the class it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again and stay safe!! Ryan J. Elborne, NREMT-P Firefighter/Paramedic - DCFD E-9 Plt. 3 EMS Chief - Fayetteville VFD Senior EMS Instructor - PIAHS
