The franklin County Amateur Radio Community supports our Franklin County Emergency Management Agency and the Franklin County Operations Center during the activation of the Operations Center by providing backup and supplemental communications capabilities between working emergency and disaster scenes, hospitals and the operations center.

Is the "Franklin County Amateur Radio Community" referring to an actual group or just a generalization of amateur radio operators that reside in Franklin County? I am familiar with the Cumberland Valley Amateur Radio Club in Chambersburg that provides RACES support to the EOC so just curious.
I am an amateur radio operator and thought it would be nice to have an actual group of emergency services personnel who are also amateur radio operators meet on air for regular nets and to help with coordination during County disasters and /or other events.
How many on this forum are HAM operators?
