I just recently earned my EMT-B and am looking to join an ambulance squad in the Waynesboro area. Any suggestions?

Dependent on where you live there is Waynesboro company 2A or Blue Ridge Summit Fire and rescue company 4. Stop by either company and talk with the folks there. I'm sure both could use any help you could provide.

The only ambulance squad in Waynesboro would be Waynesboro Ambulance Squad. You are much better off to call them directly than to ask on here. Sorry.
Depending on where you live, you may want to try Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue, also.

I would tell you to stop at Waynesboro Ambulance the second Tuesday of the month. That was tonight. Thats their meeting night and the best time to find volunteers around the station. Good Luck.

Well if you just got your EMT you can go to waynesboro to volunteer. i believe you have to have 2 yrs as an EMT to be paid there, correct me if i'm wrong, but i was just told that Blue Ridge is hiring for paid staff, that is if you have fire training as well.

i will find out what is up. i will ask Pat. You can volunteer with any ambulance that you have the proper training for if I am correct.

Yeah waynesboro's a good place, blue ridge is too. Best decision is to go by which is closer geographically to you.....yeah waynesboro and blue ridge do have career staffing, yes waynesboro does LIKE for you to have 2yrs experience.
