Wow, its pretty funny when you can read the record herald and the letters to the editors and you have a plain jane citizen bashing you because you were the only ones who didnt participate in the activities, even tho you are the community fire department.
Guess Asst. 4 held off on replacements..........

In company four's defense, they had a bunch of members (Fire Police) covering the intersections so that they could have the parade in the first place.
It is truly sad that anyone would publicly bashes the people that are volunteering to protect their lives and property over not attending a parade. It is just to bad that they can not see the big picture.

I can agree on that part, but fire cops are only half the battle. What about the actual people who go out and fight the fires? It was in the paper if i believe that the BRS Vol. Fire Company would be actively involved in this event, Where were they? The citizen, yeah, bashed the people who protect them, but PR is also a big part of the picture........fire companies cant survive without the PR to get that extra donation.........

Ok.....so you think by reading the paper makes you aware of whats going on up on the Mtn.......then buddy you are far from gone. Just to get you up to speed........our kitchen was open all weekend and we were serving food and drinks for the event.....however.....if parades are all that your worried about than thats your deal.....id like to thank you for your concern in this isue......but if you would like to help.....please feel free to fill out and application and join.......if not than please find out the whole pic. before you start running your mouth..........

Bam you are so right the people in the kitchen know that there were sweating there butts off. Big Big thank to all who help. And For some if the paper is all you can get info from I will like to talk in person. ;D

Alittle belated on the topic but I read that letter to the editor as well and was wondering myself why 4 didnt have any units in the parade. At least driver only for some representation. So the question still remains... why wasnt ne Co. 4 units in the parade? curious. I think the letter writer has a very valid point.
