Do we really need a poll for this one? I think anytime a person is clueless and ill-informed on any issue they should keep their mouth shut. However, in this case presented if the person is cross trained and versed in both levels of service then yeah, I think a person has a right to speak their mind. I am alot more versed in EMS and Rescue but have spent some time on the fire side so I wouldnt refrain from commenting on a fire related issue. However, with that said, I know my ground and realize they're are people that know alot more about the fire service then me so I wouldnt be as aggressive with my opinions as I would with EMS.

Sexy, I'm not sure I like this poll at all, but I do want to see where it goes. That's my opinion. Just be advised, I or another administrator will lock it if it goes awry. That being said, I hope people can post as adults. Caff

Hey folks:
Look, I simply defended myself with LayinCotton. I did NOT draw first blood. I'm not in the least hot at LayinCotton or anyone else. Can we just LET IT GO?! Thanks.
As to the topic of this thread I think that it's difficult to objectively voice an opinion on a subject without adequate knowledge pertaining to it. For example: I am not trained as a HazMat specialist, so to voice an intelligent opinion about HazMat operations would be futile on my part. However, I can gain some knowledge about the subject by discussing it with someone who's trained in HazMat ops. Just my thoughts.

I would like to ask one question in ref to this topic. If you are clueless to the topic that is being discussed then why should you air an opinion? To offer any type of criticism on a subject that you have no concept of would be nothing short of STUPID! Maybe things have changed in my old age but back when Moses walked the earth you didn't criticize people, you discussed and asked questions, it was called RESPECT.
