I have for sale something "everyone" should have for the home. ;D I bought 3 Federal Informer Alert Monitors through a good sale. I am keeping the one, and have it working sweet in the home . I am selling the other 2 to a good home. These are brand new and known as the Federal Informer, which is basically a new version of the old "plectron". It is capable of 4 channels, but only can listen to 1 channel at a time (doesn't scan). They are UHF 450-470 Mhz. and will work right now when programmed on Chambersburg Fire-1 UHF freq and then when the county switches to UHF, they will still continue to work. They are programmable (which I can do when sold for you) and will do several things. For instance, it can remain in "tone alert mode" and when a companies tone goes off, the unit will "open up" and make a warble siren alert and remain open for a programmed amount of time, then reset. OR it can remain in an Open Monitor Mode all of the time and alert still. It can have up to 6 different tones programmed into it (and its loud when it goes off). I love mine and its freakin awesome. These are about 600.00 new, but I was able to get them cheaper and selling for $350.00 each (programmed too). I have attached a link where you can see a picture and hear alert tones. Any questions, email me. RMurray@FriendshipFireCompany.com THANKS www.federalwarningsystems.com/products.php?prodid=25
