Anyone interested in doing an ATV ride some weekend day in the near future, probably after hunting season?
None of the DCNR Trails are open till after 12/20/05 but there are some private trails located nearbythat could be used.
Just seeing if there's an interest. I know there are a ton of fire/ ems folks that ride and have ridden with many, so thought I'd see if we can get a ride together.

I don't think that there are enough qualifed people in the state of Pa. to ride company with a "BRUTE FORCE 750" on a trail ride. Second thought, I don't think there are any trails tough enough to handle that type of "awesome horsepower." The only thing that could come close, might be that 4' dwarf mother and daughter that lay a hurtin on him before in the Fox Township VFD social hall (beer joint). Or was it that beer can that got smashed by old "Busty Harts" that stopped him dead in his tracks that morning? WAIT A MINUTE! I remember now. It was Captain America and her sparkle dust powder. Hey Tag, at least you don't have to remember the name of the sweater she was taking off for you.

Time is getting real short for any ATV riding yet this year. What with hunting season in now until January, DCNR has shut down all of their machine breaking paths in this area. I know the private leases do not want ATV's on the lease disturbing the wildlife that is left. Might have to wait until next year for any riding in this area. As far as spreading untruth, lies, or misconceptions about after dark expeditions into Turtlepoint, I just happen to have a flattened "BUDWEISER" can in my possession as a small reminder of one of those ATV after dark expeditions. Dolly Parton wishes she could do as well. OR, I could let the web site slip out, and let the less fortunate see local folk being hit real time ( or maybe dribbling Johnny B's head between those wonderful medicine balls) doesn't count. "Just remember Tag, you're the one that knows there are only 3 buildings in downtown Turtlepoint"

Ah Turtlepoint, what a nice, quaint little mountain town.
A place an ole smoke eater could easily retire to.
Located in the majestic north woods of PA.
Has a nice Pizza Shop for those quick lunches.
A stone quarry for those weekend projects.
AND of course, that great house of worship !!!
What more could one ask for !!
Now back to the original topic at hand. There are a couple private areas that I'm looking at. DCNR and ANF open Dec 20 and there are a couple state forests in MD that have ATV trails.

O-kay, enough of this fairy tell stories about some supposed house of ill-reputation and the assumption that I have been there and onto the real purpose of this post. There is an ATV park south of Hazleton, Paragon AP. It has 140+ miles of trails, is open from 0800 to 1800 on Sat & Sun. The charges are $25.00 per rider (no passengers) and you have to buy a flag which is a one time purchase for $16.00. So the first time there costs $41.00 Any interest in planning a day there? The website is www.paragonap.com
