Was i mistanken or did i see the old 55 engine being towed around yesterday ??
I even think i heard ...
Headquaters to all concerned depts., speacial attention Co. 3 and the South Allison street Sub Station, " the home of the double nickel 55 engine is now temp. out of service" ... 0900 kdg611 wqf230 ;D ;D ;D

That is correct the South Allison Fire Protection District is out of service until I can locate another Engine. Dave was kind enough to tow it to chambersburg (its new home). So until I find something new I guess I'll have to run the washington street corridor to get my fix.

Thats Sad to hear... i saw it near the school yesterday on my way to work and it looked like a white cloud. I got to work and one of the drivers said... hahaha i saw one of your firetrucks getting towed, I asked... "was it red" he said yea.Well enough on my stories, good luck to ya and if ya need any help locating or puttin in parts give me a buzz, ive done a few diesels in my day
