Word has come that at about 1730 hours this evening, the Rescue Hose Company lost one of its most respected and highly-regarded members with the passing of Marshall "Ed" Bricker. Eddie joined the RHC in 1948 and remained very active until entering the hospital on 09/07. Ed served in many capacities with the Cumberland Valley Fireman's Association and the Franklin-Fulton Fireman's Association.
The knowledge and experience he unselfishly shared with all that asked, his humor, willingness to do ANYTHING for anyone, and devotion to untirelessly serving his community are traits seen too seldom in today's world. His energy and drive were remarkable, and we were lucky that his family allowed us to share him. Martha, Tommy and his family are a loved and valued part of the RHC family, and we will ensure that relationship continues. Please remember his family in your prayers, harbor fond memories of Ed, and know his importance to our entire organization will long be remembered.
Arrangements will be announced shortly.
