Here is how it works: Any department can request the courses from me at any time. I cannot just run a course. It is the department’s responsible to request the courses (Advanced Firefighting, LPG Fires) for Firefighter II and to contact the certification-testing site (HACC, BUCKS or Sommer Set County). Students would have prerequisites of FF I, Vehicle Rescue and their first aid.
Please have a chief officer contact me soon, because my fall schedule is filling up very quickly!!!!

The Blue Ridge Summit Fire and Rescue Inc. has ask me to teach a Firefighter II class yet this year. I'm looking at my date book now.. It looks like late November into December.
The Firefighter II class will be Advanced Firefighting (32 hours) and LPG Fires (16 hours).
Anyone can attend the above classes. The class are FREE.
To take the Firefighter II test you must have- Firefighter I, Haz-Mat Operations (24 hours), Vehicle Rescue Tech. Operations. Each student will be responsible for the cost of the FF II test. (Apx. $150.00)
I will post more information when HACC gives me a date when we can use the LPG fire trainer at the Public Safety Center.
