Location: Co. 11 – Pleasant Hall FD Pa Con-Ed hrs 0/16
Fee: $10.00 for manual and lunch on Saturday - Will need an Emerg. Vehicle on Saturday to drive
Class Times: evening classes starts @ 1800 and Sat class @ 0800
1st Annual Firemen’s Convention August 20th, 2005
Plan your calendars to attend the first annual firemen’s convention. Plans are being made to hold various individual and team events. Tentative plans are for a firefighter’s challenge, bucket brigade, pumping contest, a gear donning competition and a Hot Dog Eating Contest. Location will be at Bender’s Meadow just north of Pleasant Hall on Rt. 997
Introduction to Farm Emergencies August 27th, 2005

Location: M.M.P.W. FD Starting at 8:30 am
Truck Company Operations Aug 24th, 26th, & 28th, 2005
Location: M.M.P.W. FD – Co. 9 Evenings start at 1800 and Sat at 0800
Pre-register by August 17th, 2005
Essentials of Firefighting LAST CLASS AT 88 HRS
Held on Wednesdays and Sunday on the following dates at the New Franklin Fire Dept.
Starting on Wednesday September 7, then on September 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, October 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30 and November 6 Sunday (Live burn).
Due to the new program being adopted by the State Fire Academy at the beginning of next year, this will be the last basic firefighting class offered by the FCFCA at 88 hours this year. Students are recommended to have an IFSTA 4th Edition of the Essentials of Firefighting manual to use during class.
2nd Annual Volleyball Tournament Sept. 11th, 2005
Location: Franklin County Public Safety Training Center
Cost: $10.00 per player - Volleyball teams can consist of 3 to 6 players with 2 alternates
Registration Deadlines are one (1) week prior to the start date. If sufficient pre-registrations are not received at least one week prior to the start of the above classes, it could be very likely that the class will be canceled or a late fee will be assessed. So, please register as early as possible to avert such occurrences. To register: Provide the Name, SS#, Phone # & Dept. name, address of those that wish to attend to:
