Harrisburg Area Community College Public Safety Center and PA State Fire Academy is presenting Rapid Intervention Teams at The Waynesboro Fire Department, South Potomac Street Fire Station on September 17,2005 at 0800 hours. This is a two hour introduction to RIT.
This program will prepare emergency services personnel for implementation of a stand-by rescue team at structural fires and other especially hazardous incidents. The course content relies heavily on the successful experiences of which have implemented and utilized the RIT concept. This is a awareness level course for firefighter to "Save their Own".
Prerequisites: Intro to Safety and Training and Essentials of Firefighting.
