Harrisburg Area Community College Public Safety Center and PA State Fire Academy is presenting Rapid Intervention Teams at The Blue Ridge Fire & Rescue Inc. June 24,2007 at 0830 hours. This is a two hour introduction to RIT.
This program will prepare emergency services personnel for implementation of a stand-by rescue team at structural fires and other especially hazardous incidents. The course content relies heavily on the successful experiences of which have implemented and utilized the RIT concept. This is a awareness level course for firefighter to "Save their Own".
Prerequisites: Intro to Safety and Training and Essentials of Firefighting.
